WBI Holdings is an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of MDU Resources Group (NYSE: MDU), a member of the S&P MidCap 400 index providing value-added natural resource products and related services and operates with three core lines of business: utility resources, energy, and construction materials. WBI Holdings comprises the energy business line for MDU Resources.

Provides natural gas transportation, underground natural gas storage, and pipeline gathering services utilizing pipeline systems primarily in the Rocky Mountain and northern Great Plains regions of the United States. The companies also provide energy-related management and marketing services along with cathodic protection services.  Activities include the development and operation of natural gas and oil production properties, acquisition of producing properties and leaseholds and exploratory drilling. The company shares revenues and expenses from the development of specified properties in proportion to its ownership interests and operates primarily in the Rocky Mountain and Mid-Continent/Gulf State regions.
